Welcome to the New River website.
We are a not-for-profit organisation seeking to assist individuals, groups, teams, workplaces and churches to explore purpose, and achieve growth or change by developing and using their leadership strengths. Founders Peter and Sue Kaldor and the team work with existing organizations, groups, and communities to grow leadership capacity and strong personal foundations.

Our approach to leadership recognises that we need to look beyond the idea of a leaders as a role or position. For us leadership is always a team event with different people exercising a range of leadership strengths . At New River  we see “Leadership” as an action, a verb, something to which we all can contribute, something that is vital to a healthy group or community.

We are supported in what we do by fees for workshops and other projects and through donations and personal support from those who believe in what we are doing. We set aside 10% of any consultancy fees to be available to provide workshops or subsidies to people, groups or communities who could not otherwise afford them.
